KVN’s wireless Internet service uses 2.4GHz  microwave radios to communicate between our tower and your home or business.  Once the Information is received at our tower site it is transmitted by 5.8GHz radio back to our office and out to the Internet.

         With wireless Internet access you should be able to get upload and download speeds comparable to DSL and even faster in some cases.  Because we are using microwave radios, the signal is not affected by heavy rain, fog or snow. We see this as a great advantage over other types of wireless Internet access. However, to obtain maximum signal you must have clear line of sight between your antenna and our tower.  This means you need to be able to see our tower from your home or business.      These areas are not all inclusive and are just to give you an idea of the area we serve.
