      DSL stands for Digital Subscriber Line. It allows you to get high speed connections over a standard phone line. With DSL you can enjoy download speeds of 1.5 Megabytes per second (Mbps) and upload connection speeds of 768 kbps. Plus, because DSL works with your existing telephone line, so you can still place and receive phone calls even though you are connected to the Internet. The availability of DSL is dependent on your telephone company and is not available in all areas.
